A floor for every situation

Solid flooring is the soul of the product, but some conditions still require a engineered solution. The engineered product is designed for more demanding conditions like floors with hydronic heating systems. The floor is manufactured in random lengths from 500 mm (20”) up to 2,950 mm (10′) and in widths of 100 – 350 mm (4” – 14”) for solid flooring and up to 450 mm (17.7”) for engineered floor.  Slight natural variations may occur. Thicknesses available in solid wood are 20 mm (0.79”), with engineered available in 16,4 mm (0.65”)

For special orders production can accommodate up to 6,000 mm (20 feet) lengths and up to 450 mm (18 inches) in width. When circumstances require, engineered floor can be produced in special thicknesses 13,4 mm (0.5”) and 19,4 mm (0.76”).

option b: predetermined modules

Curv8 is live edge wood flooring using Nature’s Fit™ technology –  science’s closest match to a tree’s natural growth.

Curv8 has eight patterns derived from Bolefloor’s scan data from more than 100,000 trees, that  preserves the 8 forms most true to the way they grew in nature. For every Curv8 floor, raw boards are selected to fit one of these eight forms. Curv8 curves are never cut from straight boards. Each Curv8 module matches perfectly with every other Curv8 module, making an endless pattern possible without noticeable repetition. Modules of eight planks, covering a total of 2.8 square meters (30 sqft), are packaged in individual cartons for easy installation.

Curv8 patented modular technology retains the tree’s original shape and grain lines, allowing material to be utilized in an eco-friendly manner and making pattern repetition unnoticeable. Each Curv8 module matches perfectly with every other Curv8 module, making an endless repeating pattern possible.

Modules are packaged in individual cartons for easier installation.

One Curv8 module contains 8 boards and covers 2.8 m2 (30sf). The shipped module package is 1820 mm x 250 mm (71.65” x 9.84"), with a height of 86 mm (3.85"). One packaged module weighs 23 kg (50lb).

Curv8 boards are never cut from straight planks.

Curv8 board is 11,7 mm (0.46″) thick with 3,2 mm (0.12”) noble timber wear layer and has bevels, tongue and groove on all four sides.

Engineered Natural grade Oak
